Kedleston Hall

Kedleston Hall boasts the most complete and least-altered sequence of Robert Adam interiors in England, with the magnificent state rooms retaining their great collections of paintings and original furniture.

In 2006 the curate decided to renovate the Smoking Room which required replacing the curtains of three large floor to ceiling windows. Queenshill were asked to make these from Moss coloured Oxley Velvet, a fine cotton velvet from GP & J Bakers Perandor Collection. The curtains were trimmed with a wide and luxurious natural coloured border from Henry Newberry.
